Brooke Blurton has had enough, tearfully addressing the death of 15-year-old Cassius Turvey on her Instagram Story.

The Indigenous teenager was murdered on October 13 after hopping off a bus in Middle Swan, Western Australia.

The young boy was approached by a group of men in a black ute, according to police reports, and while Cassius’ friends escaped to a nearby TAFE, they quickly realised he was nowhere to be seen.

According to investigators, the teen was brutally beaten with a metal pole, which resulted in him suffering two strokes and internal bleeding in the brain. He tragically passed in the hospital on October 23 while in an induced coma.

The news weighs heavy, and Brooke, who was Australia’s first Indigenous Bachelorette, is tired of the disgusting displays of “violence and racism.”

“I’m just gonna be real with you guys because I’m over it,” she said through tears.

Brooke explained that she was prepping for her Not So PG podcast when her co-host Matty Mills said he “really wants to talk about things that really affect us and what we see every day”.

“Recently, a poor 15-year-old called Cassius Turvey passed away because of the injuries he sustained walking home from school from a white man who just bashed [and] hit him with a metal pole because of mistaken identity or whatever the reason,” she said.

“F**k knows why. He’s a 15-year-old kid, for f**k’s sake.”

As a fierce advocate for the Indigenous community, Brooke said she’s “so tired” of hearing about these heinous events.

“We’re just so tired of seeing these senseless acts of violence and racism, that stereotype, happen every day to the result of our young people dying,” Brooke expressed.

“When does it stop?”

Brooke concluded her story by sharing a link to a GoFundMe page in honour of Cassius.

So far, over $267,000 has been raised for his family.

Police have alleged that one of the attackers is 21-year-old Jack Brearly, who has since been charged with murder.
