The Full Cast of Byron Baes Who Will Be Living Their Best Lives on Netflix’s New Series

Love it or hate it, it’s happening. When Netflix announced its brand-new docu-soap, Byron Baes, influencers around the country no doubt gathered their chicest boho two-piece, changed the cover of their phones to a palm tree, packed their ring lights and rushed off to the sleepy beach town to be featured.

Centred around a group of Instagram influencers “living their best lives”, the new series will no doubt become a hit (much to the disdain of those who loathe it) and will feature the drama that living the high-life can bring.

“It’s not just Chris and Zac’s backyard, it’s the playground of more celebrity-adjacent-adjacent influencers than you can poke a selfie stick at,” the official release reads. 

“But PLOT TWIST: Don’t write these Baes off too quickly. There’ll be fights, flings and heartbreak; but beneath every perfect post is a very real desire not just for ‘likes’, but to be liked, dammit, for who you are.”

While we’re 100% confident that the Hemsworth’s and our newly-crowned honourary Aussie Zac will not be making an appearance, it does make us wonder who will be on the coveted guest list.

The Daily Telegraph unveiled the cast list after Netflix was forced to apologise to the stars of the show for calling them “hot Instagrammers” and “influencers”.

Netflix’s Director of Originals, Que Minh Luu said in a statement that the cast had “hated” the recent PR and apologised on her Instagram account.

“They are artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, business owners, models, on a spiritual journey and more,” she wrote.

“Most of them hated the press release too! Did a lot of apologising that week. Fired the PR team (lol joking about the firing, we’re all learning together).”

She continued: “They understand the power of influence. They are part of Byron. They understand the creative vision of the show that has been developed with them over several months.”
