It’s time to get back on the couch (but who are we kidding, we never left it in the first place). The Celebrity Gogglebox Australia special episode is set to premiere on Foxtel, Wednesday, March 2 at 7.30pm, before the start of the 15th season of Gogglebox Australia on March 9.
And because we’re totally nosy, we’re definitely going to be tuning it so we can look inside the lounge rooms of our favourite celebs.
Being an armchair critic is hard work, and producers have scouted some of the best people for the job. So far, Foxtel has only revealed one couple who will be issuing their critiques, and they are comedian and presenter Hamish Blake and beauty mogul, Zoë Foster Blake. Hamish has an extensive CV, featuring everything from hosting a radio show, producing a podcast and, of course, fronting the enormously successful LEGO Masters Australia.
Zoë is a #girlboss, the founder of clean, cruelty-free Aussie skincare line, Go-To. She’s also written 12 books, including novel The Wrong Girl, which has gone on to become a television series.
“We’ve trained every night for this over the last ten years, we’ve got this,” Hamish said about the new gig. The media personality usually works alongside his friend and comedy partner Andy Lee, but now, he’s decided to join forces with his wife.
Foxtel will be announcing the line-up for Celebrity Gogglebox soon, and it includes a number of well-known television hosts, comedians, radio presenters and performers.
“We waited until the time was right to commission Celebrity Gogglebox,” said Brian Walsh, Foxtel’s executive director of television. “Foxtel has always held the view that if we were able to take one of our most successful shows and modify it and lift it with a celebrity version, we had to deliver the strongest lineup of Australian celebrities. We believe we have delivered just that, for what will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of Australian television in 2022.”

Celebrity Gogglebox Australia premieres on Foxtel on March 2 and Channel 10 on March 3.
