Charli XCX and Troye Sivan's "2099" Song

Bye, 1999! Charli XCX and Troye Sivan Take Us to "2099" With an Ultrafuturistic Jam

Charli XCX and Troye Sivan have reunited for a another musical, time-travelling adventure. This time, they're taking us into the future, specifically "2099." While the duo gave us some serious nostalgia with their previous collaboration "1999," their latest single is a synth-heavy jam that lets us plebeians still stuck in 2019 know exactly how chill the future is. In case you're wondering, NASCAR is still very much a thing in 100 years, so I guess there's still time to get into it. Check out the track above, and watch out for the music video dropping Sept. 11!
