From SZA to Taylor Swift, All the Artists Going on Tour in 2023

When it comes to music, 2022 went out with a bang, especially after years of uncertainty in the music industry amid the COVID pandemic. Along with incredible, critically acclaimed releases from artists like Harry Styles (“Harry’s House”), Beyoncé (“Renaissance”), The Weeknd (“Dawn FM”), Kendrick Lamar (“Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers”), and SZA (“SOS”), the year was also filled with showstopping tours. Elton John, Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, The 1975, Dua Lipa, and Lizzo were just some of the artists who dominated 2022 with national and international shows.

Given last year’s lineup of beloved artists, 2023 has some big shoes to fill in terms of concert tours, but the year is set to match 2022 with a number of highly anticipated, spectacular shows. Whether you’re a serial concertgoer or someone looking to simply enjoy some live music, here’s a roundup of artists going on tour in 2023.

Beyonce's "Renaissance" World Tour

In October 2022, Queen Bey discreetly teased that she would be going on tour in 2023. According to Vulture, the “Cuff It” singer revealed the news at the Wearable Art Gala, when a “UNIQUE experience” to see the star perform her newest songs from the “Renaissance” album was auctioned off. Dates and locations for the tour have yet to be revealed, but fans anticipate an announcement sometime in February.

Lizzo's "Special" 2our

To highlight her latest album, “Special,” Lizzo launched her 2our tour back in the fall of 2022 but extended the dates to the spring of 2023. The 2023 tour starts Feb. 17 in Norway and includes stops in Denmark, Germany, Italy, and England (to name a few) before reaching the US. The singer’s North American segment of the tour begins in Knoxville, TN, on April 21 and ends on June 2 in Palm Desert, CA.

Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour

Running from May to September, Ed Sheeran will be on tour across North America in 2023. Guest performers include Khalid, Russ, Dylan, and Rosa Linn.

Matchbox Twenty's Spring/Summer 2023 Tour

Matchbox Twenty’s tour was originally scheduled for the spring/summer of 2022, but the band postponed dates until the following year due to the risk of COVID-19 exposure. The 2023 tour spans the US and Canada and runs from May 16 to Aug. 6.
