Has Filming for Emily in Paris Season 4 Started?

According to Variety, filming for both season three and season four were being filmed back-to-back at the same time. Since season three wrapped in September 2022, it’s safe to assume that filming for season four has been completed.

When Will Emily in Paris Season 4 Be Released?

Although Netflix has yet to announce a release date for season four, it’s possible that we might see it drop in December 2023, just in time for the holidays. Of course, this is just speculation, and we’ll have to wait for official news from Netflix for confirmation.

Who Will Star in Season 4 of Emily in Paris?

Although Netflix has not confirmed the cast list for season four, it’s safe to assume that the majority of the show’s beloved characters will return.

It’s hard to imagine the show without Emily (Lily Collins) or her trusty sidekick Mindy (Ashley Park). The season three cliffhanger finale implies that Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel will also return. Along with series regulars Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Julien (Samuel Arnold), and Luc (Bruno Gouery).

The fate of Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), Emily’s short-lived British boyfriend, remains uncertain.

What’s the Plot of Emily in Paris Season 4?

While we don’t know the exact plot of season four, Darren Star hinted at the overarching theme of the season: navigating complicated relationships.

With the ill-fated wedding, Emily and Gabriel’s will-they-won’t-they dynamic, Camille’s baby news, and the fact that the trio all live in the same apartment building, “complicated” seems like an understatement.

“Emily is still going to be working with Alfie, Gabriel, and Camille,” Star told TV Guide. “Those work relationships are going to continue. But there are a lot of personal relationships that will come into conflict with those work relationships.”

We can expect season four to continue exploring the complicated and intertwined personal and professional relationships of the show’s beloved characters.
