Farmer Wants a Wife: Is Madi Going to Woo Farmer Will and Come Out on Top?

Farmer Wants a Wife — AKA my favourite Australian dating show — is back in full swing, and this year’s farmers might just take the cake. They’re all such catches!

This season, we’re following Farmer Ben, 27, from Wingham, NSW, Farmer Harry, 24, from Kyabram, VIC, Farmer Will, 26, from Berriwillock, VIC, Farmer Benjamin, 33, from Guyra, NSW, and Farmer Paige — the show’s first female farmer — who’s 28 and from Cassilis, NSW.

One of the women that is still in with a chance with Farmer Will is Madi, a 25-year-old legal assistant from Victoria.

In last episode’s bonfire, Madi made it very clear to Farmer Will that she wants his next date — the second 24-hour date of the season — because she feels as though he has a lot more to learn about her.

“I love being outdoors,” she said in a press statement. “My weekends are spent away in rural properties with my family where we camp, sit by the fire and have a good time. I’ve always wanted to find someone who wants the same future as me on a property with animals — an easy-going lifestyle, no city chaos.

“Living on a farm, I see myself getting up early in the morning, getting my hands dirty, always looking for something to do or fix, getting out to the pub for dinner and a drink, and being able to chill out at home at night by the fire.”

On paper, she sounds like Farmer Will’s dream girl.

Farmer Will has already had a bit of a runaround, with his initial 24-hour date Alicia, being a little more dishonest than he was willing to handle. But since, he has grown a pretty strong connection with the other lady on the farm; Jess.

Although we haven’t seen much of Madi yet, this 24-hour date might change everything. Will Farmer Will pick Madi for the next one-on-one? Tune into Farmer Wants a Wife to find out.

Farmer Wants a Wife airs at 7.00pm on Sundays, and 7.30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, only on 7 and 7 Plus.
