Sophie and Joshy Reveal Plans for "FBOY Island Australia" Money

Sophie Blackley walked into “FBOY Island Australia” with the intention of finding a ‘Nice Guy’ to explore a connection with. The DJ surprised everyone when she chose Joshy, a self-proclaimed “FBoy,” as her romantic interest. Despite his “FBoy” status, Joshy decided to split the $50,000 prize money with Sophie at the finale. The pair left the show as a couple, but have since hit pause on their relationship.

Now that “FBOY Island Australia” has come to an end, the questions that always arise are, “What will they do with the prize money?” and “What’s next for Joshy and Sophie?”

Speaking to POPSUGAR Australia about what the future holds for them, Sophie and Joshy laughed, admitting that it’s “quite boring”.

“I pressed pause on the life that I thoroughly enjoy and love to go on the show,” 26-year-old DJ and dancer Sophie told POPSUGAR Australia. “When I came back, I just went back to normal, continuing to do the things I love. I’m not entirely sure what’s next for me. I’ll take it as it comes and see how it goes.”

But she does have some exciting plans on the horizon.

“I’m currently in the process of applying for an American Visa with my managers, who are based in LA,” she shared. “So, we’ll be heading over there soon.”

Josh also has plans to head over to the States with his money — and he even hinted at the idea of meeting Sophie over there.

“I’m heading to America in October. Other than that, I’m probably going to save and invest the money to try to make more,” he admitted.

Beyond that, Josh has his sights set on fitness events and competitions at his gym. He also expressed the desire to explore various adventures.

“I’m competing in a lot of fitness events and stuff like that in my gym. I can invest some money, make some more and make a better life for me and my family,” he said.

While the pair aren’t romantically connected, they still remain good friends. Reflecting on her decision to choose Joshy on the show, Sophie admitted, “I feel like I’ve come off the show really happy with my decision.”

“It may sound dramatic, but it was one of the biggest decisions I had to make. Looking back now, in the heat of it, it was just as simple as choosing Joshy.”

They both agreed that preserving their bond and taking time to explore other aspects of their connection was the right choice. But who knows what the future holds for these two?
