Tatyanna Dumas is Comet on Gladiators 2024

Network 10

It’s coming. No one can stop the reboot of “Gladiators” from dropping next year. Nor can anyone stop Tatyanna Dumas’ performance as Comet. They’re both fiery, sassy, and ready to bring a battle dome into your living room.

In the original 1995 run of “Gladiators”, each episode starred a bunch of buff people competing in a gauntlet of physical challenges. These challenges included wrestling matches, obstacle course races, and aerial-based combat.

The prize? Glory. The stakes? Higher than anything else that was on our TVs.

In 2024, “Gladiators” is returning with this format, however, with a few twists. We’re talking new challenges, a mystery opponent called Black Ops, and Liz Ellis and Beau Ryan as its hosts.

Another change is the creation of the character Comet. Unlike Elektra, we haven’t had this competitor in the ring before.

So, who is the “Gladiators” Comet? What is this enigma going to bring to the arena? Here’s what we know so far.

Who Is the Gladiator Comet?

Before becoming Comet on “Gladiators”, Tatyanna Dumas has worked as a qualified stunt performer and professional basketballer. She is also the Women’s Head Coach at the Sydney NBA Academy.

Tatyanna’s proudest achievement to date was being selected as NSW’s first and only female into the Australian College of Sport at the age of 16. She has also competed in “Ninja Warrior” in Seasons 2 and 3.

As Comet, Tatyanna will be confident and assertive. She’ll be the master of the sledge, causing destruction wherever she lands.

Across X and Instagram, Tatyanna has been hyping up her performance as Comet.

“Gladiators” is set to premiere at 7.30pm on Monday, January 15, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand. Miss its premiere? Catch up on 10 Play.
