The Goonies Cast Virtual Reunion With Josh Gad | Video

The Goonies Cast Reunited With Josh Gad to Read Some of the Film's Most Iconic Scenes

It's been over 30 years since Mouth, Sloth, Mikey, Data, Brand, and the rest of the cast of The Goonies took us on a booby trap-filled adventure in search of One-Eyed Willy's long lost pirate treasure. But anyone who's seen the movie will know that Goonies never say die. In a special video hosted on his YouTube channel on Monday, Frozen star and lifelong Goonies fan Josh Gad hosted a virtual cast reunion featuring Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Ke Huy Quan, Jeff Cohen, Josh Brolin, and even executive producer Steven Spielberg.

"If I were to tell my younger self that this was happening, I'd probably have like a 1980s Hodour fit," Gad said once the full cast was on screen. The cast then went around to share what they've all been up to since the film was first released in 1985, and also shared some of their favourite scenes from the movie.

Best of all, Cohen (aka Chunk), Astin (aka Mikey), Feldman (aka Mouth), and more reenacted some of their most iconic scenes — including Mouth's heartbreaking wishing well scene — and it's like watching the movie for the first time all over again. Like Astin, we're still holding out hope for a Goonies sequel. In the meantime, watch the full cast reunion here for your fill of nostalgic Goonies fun.
