- While singing “I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God,” they debuted an undercut haircut.
- She wore a different hairstyle while singing “Darling.”
Halsey chose the perfect time to reveal that their famous undercut haircut is back. On the latest episode of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 9, the singer performed “I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God” off her latest album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power and her new super-short haircut was on full display.
On one side of Halsey’s head, their hair was completely buzzed, and on the other side, their black hair reached past her ear and was styled in tousled waves. Celebrity hairstylist Martin-Christopher Harper created the singer’s look for the live TV performance and rounded up the style with micro bangs straight across her forehead.
But that wasn’t the only hairstyle we got to see from Halsey during the night; while singing “Darling” with Lindsey Buckingham, they wore a long auburn wig. For both performances, Halsey did her own makeup using products from her brand, About-Face.
“I can’t believe I just did SNL for the 5th time!!!!!! It never gets old. Always electrifying and so fun to finally perform the new songs,” Halsey tweeted after the show.
