Dream Team Heath and Toni Are Highly Competitive, and They’ll Do Anything to Win The Amazing Race

Heath and Toni —a highly competitive husband and wife — are determined to win while making amazing memories along the way.

Toni is a “calamity Jane” who is not afraid to speak her mind, while Heath is an incredibly loyal man and everyone’s best buddy. Together they bring out the best in each other.

Diagnosed with terminal breast cancer —Toni is taking on the biggest challenges of her life; but she is a strong woman eager to make her way through the darkness of the illness. Heath and Toni are determined to live every moment they have to the fullest — spending precious time together filled with adventure, laughter, and memories that will last forever.

They are no stranger to the stamina needed in The Amazing Race, with both working out at the gym three to four times a week. Together they have been on a nine-week tour around Australia in a camper trailer, as well as the UK, UAE, Laos, Vietnam, Canada, Iceland, Scotland, Indonesia, the Philippines, and now The Amazing Race Australia.

What excites and scares Heath at the same time about travelling is the feeling of the unknown. He said, “Sometimes you have an experience of a lifetime when travelling, which is one of the most exciting things. However, you can also find yourself in situations that are completely outside your comfort zone, especially when in a different culture.”

For Heath, their biggest advantage in The Amazing Race is their resilience in the face of hardship.  They believe that they can overcome any challenges that come their way and learn from them. Heath added, “Toni and I have been through a lot as a couple and we have always come through the other side.”

Toni shares that the reason why she wants to be on The Amazing Race Australia is “To have a once in a lifetime experience and adventure, to seize the day and grasp all of life’s amazing opportunities, to be able to travel, to have fun and make lasting memories with Heath.”

When asked what is the best and worst part of travelling with her husband is, Toni puts it this way, “We are a good team, and each takes on different roles and responsibilities, though Heath is not great when hungry.”

Heath and Toni are determined to be in The Amazing Race to prove life can be positive and full of love and adventures.
