Keep the Change, Ya Filthy Animal: Stay at the Home Alone House For Less Than The Cost of a Pizza

For the first time ever, a family other than the McCallisters have the opportunity to stay at the famous Home Alone house.

The giant home – located “on the most boring street in the whole United States of America” in Winnetka, Illinois, just outside of Chicago – will be available to rent for one night only through Airbnb.

According to the Airbnb host (who happens to be Kevin’s big brother Buzz), up to four guests can “feel free to eat junk food, watch rubbish on TV, borrow my dad’s aftershave, and choose your own adventure with a legendary battle plan as a guide.” That’s right – your family can actually set the booby traps instead of sidestepping them like the Wet Bandits. Pizza and microwavable Kraft Macaroni & Cheese will also be provided. Although a “member of my McCallister Security team will ensure a comfortable stay for you and your family,” he does implore you not to let his pet tarantula loose and asks that you stay out of his room, OK?

Booking for this stay opens Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. ET and costs just $25 – less than a pie from Little Nero’s Pizza. If you haven’t given up and are thirsty for more, read on to see even more photos of the iconic house perfect for inner 8-year-olds and actual 8-year-olds alike.
