In a Wild Turn of Events, One of the Farmer Wants a Wife Contestants Appears to Already Be Engaged
We're only a week out from the season 10 premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife and it looks like one of the farmers' lucky ladies has already found love.
36-year-old Kimberley, who originally applied to compete for Farmer Neil's heart, recently shared a video on her Instagram account showing a man, who isn't Farmer Neil, down on one knee proposing as she tearfully says yes. She captioned the video, "U said yes!!!" followed by the hashtags #proposal, #love, #forever and #couples.
Kimberley's post was filled with comments from family and friends congratulating the newly engaged couple.
What makes this whole situation a little bit spicy is that usually contestants are supposed to keep any relationships under wraps until after their episodes have aired to avoid any spoilers. But this isn't the first time that Kimberley has shared snaps of her new relationship, with posts dating as far back as May 2020.
Now, almost a month after what appears to be an engagement, she's presumably contractually obliged to promote her time on the series. Confused fans have already left comments questioning the whole situation, like "Didn't u just get engaged?" to which she replied, "this was filmed months ago."
We know that FWAW was filmed from mid-January to early March, and was meant to air in April, however, Channel Seven delayed the premiere due to coronavirus, which means there has been time for the contestants to move on with their lives . . . and you know, get engaged.
Well, there you have it, folks. While it looks like Kimberley didn't win farmer Neil's heart, she has certainly won a heart and that's what it's all about, isn't it?
