Izzy Says She Took a Feminist Approach to The Bachelor by Refusing to Compete With Other Women
Izzy was sent home by Locky Gilbert from The Bachelor just shy of the finale, when the women were swiftly cut from four to two after hometowns.
While Izzy's hometown visit wasn't without its awkwardness (we're still obsessed with the Locky sperm chat), we saw her connect with the Bachelor through couples' yoga and with her family. Her emotional departure, where she very gracefully wished for the best for Locky, hit us— and seemingly Locky himself! — in the feels.
While we didn't see much of Izzy early on in the season, apart from her asthma moment on the red carpet, where she also goaded Locky into eating chillis (his most-hated food!), she came into her own during "Love in Lockdown". There she earned an oddly romantic tacos-then-bath date, where the pair laughed and connected. They then headed off on the plan-your-future date in real life back at the mansion, where we saw the pair's easy intimacy.
Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be for Izzy and Locky!
POPSUGAR Australia caught up with Izzy to talk about how she brought her feminist upbringing into the Bachelor mansion.
