20+ Times Joey King's Fashion Was Absolutely Top Notch

Joey’s black Jason Wu dress at the 2020 SAG Awards was basically the most elevated version of the naked dress I’ve ever seen. It was chic, sleek, and gorgeous.

This dress made a statement. Joey’s Iris van Herpen gown at the 2020 Golden Globes was so different from anything else on the red carpet. It was a polarizing look, but I absolutely love it. Joey takes risks with her fashion, and I’m very here for it.

I love when Joey goes for bold looks like this threeASFOUR dress she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in 2020. The cutout pieces make it look like she’s wrapped in leaves rather than fabric, which is honestly just so damn cool.

The outfit Joey wore for this Build Series event in 2019 is fine. It’s whatever. I want to talk about these boots. Joey rocked a pair of over-the-knee Christian Louboutin boots that were so hot and were easily the star of this outfit.

I just want to discuss how fun and flirty this Attico dress is. Joey chose it for the 2019 People’s Choice Awards and she just looked like she was having so much fun in it. How could you not, though?

This is how you dress up pajamas. Joey wore this pajama suit set to her pal Bobby Berk’s event in 2019, and she makes PJs look oh-so fashionable.

Before Lirika Matoshi’s strawberry dress blew up on TikTok, the designer dressed Joey for the HFPA and THR Golden Globe Ambassador Party in 2019. Joey’s dress has all the same vibes as the strawberry dress but is a more subtle, sexy red carpet look instead.

Joey’s sweet red Zac Posen dress was topped off with a giant bow in the back, and that’s truly what makes the whole look shine. The accent was subtle enough to not overpower the dress but still enough to stand out.

Joey’s floral Richard Quinn bubble dress could have so easily been much more simple, but what’s the fun in that? She paired it with a black velvet bodysuit – gloves included – to make it look like her dress was just floating on the black carpet. Clever and creative.

Joey’s 2019 was pretty big. Obviously her career was booming, but her fashion sense really blossomed. She wore SO many stunning outfits in 2019, including this fitted blazer dress that she wore to the InStyle & Kate Spade New York Dinner. The plunging neckline added some drama, and this look falls in line nicely with the suiting style she tends to favor.

OK, I just have to say that Joey looks flawless in red. The bright color on her skin tone works so well, as you can see by this dress she wore to a screening of The Kissing Booth in 2018. The dress is simple but bold, which works for her.

The maroon Zac Posen gown Joey wore to the Emmys in 2018 isn’t a dress I’ll soon forget. Though it’s more on the tame and pretty side of what she typically wears, she looked absolutely stunning. And all that twirling! Love.

Joey does such a beautiful job playing with volume, and this whole outfit was such a good mix of that. I especially love the billowing sleeves on this Atoir top she wore to the 2018 Daily Front Row Awards (and the I Am Gia pants are divine, too).

I love Joey in a suit. She wears them so well, so I’m glad she wears them often. The green Emporio Armani suit was patterned from head to toe but the peek-a-boo bra underneath provided a sweet touch of femininity.

Always changing things up, Joey went with this monochrome black and white look at the harper x Harper’s BAZAAR May Issue Event in 2016. The black cigarette pants were balanced by the puff on the sleeves for a bit of playfulness.

One of Joey’s earlier suit looks was this red one from the Stonewall premiere in 2015. It was a fun pop of color that helped pave the way for some of her more recent fun looks.
