Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders: Get to Know Johnson Ashak, a Big Brother Superfan
Watching our former favourites return to the Big Brother house has been a treat, but no one is more excited than housemate Johnson Ashak. The Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders contestant is a self-confessed superfan, and appearing on the show has been a dream come true.
“I have always wanted to apply for Big Brother since I was seven or eight,” he said.
Ever since he entered the house, Ashak has been pulling out all the stops to make sure he wins. He does, however, want to be remembered as “funny, smart and a game player”.
Outside the house, Ashak is a civil engineer and is planning on using his “logic and… ability to problem solve” to make it right to the very end.
While he’s intelligent and ambitious, he does admit to being impatient, saying it’s one of his biggest weaknesses.
“I’m a micro-manager, I like to manage everything,” Ashak admitted.
Whether his fear of losing control will affect his gameplay is yet to be seen, but only time will tell.
This year, Big Brother has gone through a major overhaul, bringing in eight previous contestants from past seasons to compete against a group of newbies. Reggie Bird, Tim Dormer, Trevor Butler, Farmer Dave Graham, Estelle Landy, Drew Anthony and Tully Smyth are all back to win — some for the second time.
Big Brother Royalty Vs New Contenders airs Monday – Wednesdays, only on Channel 7 and 7 Plus.
