Meet the Cast of Junior MasterChef and Try Not to Feel Ashamed at Your Cooking Ability
The full cast of 14 mini chefs starring in the third season of Junior MasterChef have been revealed today, making us all feel woefully inadequate about our culinary aptitude.
Junior MasterChef returns this year for the first time since 2011, with almost 2000 aspiring chefs, aged between nine and 14 from across Australia applying for the series and the chance to be the next Isabelle Bliss or Greta Yaxley.
In the auditions, they showed off their cooking prowess to this year's new MasterChef judges, Andy Allen, Jock Zonfrillo and Melissa Leong.
The list of young talent set to beguile the judges' tastebuds and put to shame viewers at home includes Ryan, the 11-year-old son of MasterChef season 10 winner, Sashi Cheliah. He's joined by Ben, Carter, Dev, Etka, Filo, Georgia, Laura, Phenix, Porsha, Ruby, Salvo, Tiffany and Vienna.
We can expect Mystery Boxes, Immunity Challenges, Eliminations and more when the new series premieres on October 11 on Network Ten, with the contestants impressing guest chefs and the judges with their understanding of cooking techniques and cuisine from all over the world.
And all of it in the name of winning a massive $25,000 in prize money and the title of this year's Junior MasterChef!
