Check Out All the Pics from Liz and Seb's Perfect Wedding on Married at First Sight
Returning MAFS bride Liz and Seb were the first intruder couple to get married in episode 18 of Married at First Sight, potentially giving Australia — and Liz — the happy ending we've been holding out for.
It's genuinely heartwarming to watch Seb's face light up when he saw Liz walking down the aisle. "My dream girl has just walked up the aisle," he says. Sure, he didn't figure out who she was until she started talking about her troubled experience last year in her vows, but when he does he's excited about it. "I'm terrified to be doing this all over again," Liz admitted. But during the photoshoot Seb literally told her to ask his friends, he watched last year and thought she was so attractive.
There's a brief grilling from her mum, who just wanted to know if he considers himself a "jock", and he said he likes to smash stereotypes. He's a sporty guy, but he's also a big dork with a sense of humour. He managed to ingratiate himself to her family.
Liz didn't have to go to half the trouble with Seb's mum, who told Liz that all her son is looking for is loyalty, a good laugh, and to be fed. Liz reckoned she can manage that.
The pair joked together about how they're terrible dancers, so after they slowdanced, Seb demonstrated his best Peter Garrett moves, to Liz's joy. He made her feel comfortable — it's different this time around. While she's tempted to keep her guard up and has learnt not to trust her own judgement, after being rejected on national television, she managed to put those feelings aside.
Later he reassured her that he's not a cheater: "I'm never going to betray you," he promised. They pashed for ages, which made Seb giggle with the joy of a teenager after their first kiss. There's chemistry here! "Today was one of the most romantic days of my life," Liz gushed. Liz and Seb ended their wedding day canoodling at home, and God, we hope this one works out.
