Love Island Australia Has Announced its Premiere Date and its Sooner Than You Think!

Channel 9

It hasn’t been long since Love Island UK wrapped up, but we’ve already started to feel withdrawals. The popular reality show took the world by storm as people tuned in to see who will fall in love with who.

There was drama, heartbreak and, of course, plenty of swoon-worthy moments, and now that it’s over, we can’t help but feel a little empty inside. Thankfully, the Australian instalment of the franchise isn’t too far away, premiering on October 31.

Not only have we been blessed with a start date, but Channel 9 also gifted us a first look and the contestants who will be entering the villa this year.

While the trailer didn’t give too much away, host Sophie Monk spilled some more details at Nine’s 2023 Upfronts presentation earlier this month.

“We have high-flying real estate agents, we have a soccer player, we have a model, a dancer and we have a famous groom,” she told the audience.

The upcoming season of Love Island Australia is switching things up a little, and instead of airing on Channel 9, it will only be available to watch on the network’s streaming platform, 9Now.

And now that the world has opened up again, filming of the show will take place in Mallorca, Spain, instead of Byron Bay, where last year’s season was filmed.

It’s definitely looking to be a hot girl summer, and the countdown to October 31 is on!
