We all know “Married At First Sight” dinner parties go out with a bang. And it was no different at Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie’s annual “MAFS” Dinner Party last night.

And, of course, the participants dropped some juicy goss about the show BEFORE we hit final vows on Sunday. Talk about a spoiler.

One of the most exciting revelations came from MAFS groom Duncan, who shared details about his relationship status with Alyssa. Which we’ve all been dying to know, mind you. Did you know Alyssa has a child, btw?

Anyway, just to get you up to speed, the pair haven’t been doing too great lately. At one point we thought these two were the strongest couple in the experiment.

But Alyssa’s pressure about balancing her time and attention between her child and her relationship bubbled up, causing a rift between the pair. Some say she’s even self-sabotaging the relationship over it.

Speaking at Nova’s Dinner Party, Duncan basically insinuated things with Alyssa were over and they weren’t even on speaking terms. Despite wearing his wedding ring. He also admitted that he’s still looking for love.

“During the week I reached out to Alyssa just to check in on how she was said that I would be there for and have a phone call or if there’s something I could do to help I would. But I didn’t get a reply,” Duncan said.

“Would you actually be up for doing the Bachelor?” Wippa asked.

“Nah, I’m just a young man looking for love,” he replied. “No one watches the Bachelor.”

We are set to watch their final vows unfold on Sunday night, and from what we’ve heard, it’s going to be explosive. The groom is set to blindside his ‘wife’ by dumping her during their final vows, as reported by the Daily Mail.

“Alyssa just didn’t understand why she was strung along,” the source told the publication. “Alyssa knew things were never going to work out with Duncan, as much as she wanted them to. They both live different lives.”

“Married At First Sight” airs Sunday at 7.00pm and Monday — Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
