Martha Kalifatidis, who wed Michael Brunelli on last year's season of Married at First Sight, is working on a reality TV show about her relationship with her mum.
Martha's PR gave the gossip to NW: "I can confirm that we are in the early stages of creating a reality show for Martha and her mum, but this is all I can share for the time being."
The reality TV contestant responded to the tabloid's inquiries with a wink emoji: "Hmmm maybe!"
A source had previously told NW that Martha "wants to be the next Kimmy K!", modelling her public relationship with her mum off Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. "Martha's been posting lots of videos of her mum involved in Kris Jenner-like antics."
An ongoing show featuring a former MAFS couple absolutely makes sense, considering the show's ratings, and Martha might be the ideal star. Just think about the ongoing feud between Martha and her 2019 co-stars.
The latest blow-up was just a week ago when one of Martha's Instagram followers asked Martha about her relationship with co-stars Jessika Power and Ines Basic. Martha replied in an Instagram Live video that she would "rather have root canal surgery from now until the end of time than ever speak to them again", before adding, "Honestly, l wish them well."
Ines and Jess came out swinging in their own Instagram Stories. Ines wrote that Martha had cheated on Michael, as Jessika claimed that Martha had been "sleeping with her ex-boyfriend" over Christmas in 2018 — after filming for the 2019 season had finished.
Jessika added that Martha was "considering leaving Michael" to be with a sheikh, continuing with more allegations of infidelity: "And the fact that you were romantically involved with a cast member at the start of last year and denied it."
Martha denied all of the rumours to the Daily Mail.
Martha has however been supportive of Liz, who returned for the 2020 season after being cheated on in 2019. As Daily Mail noted, in her recap series Martha's Wine Moment, Martha shared her support for Liz and Seb: "I want Lizzie and Seb to be happy. Like he's cute, really cute.
"Lizzie is so confident this year, she is like a new person . . . The glow-up, coming back in confident, like, 'Yes, b*itch, you show them.'"
Martha and Michael are one of only three couples to still be together in the history of Married at First Sight.
