Inside Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s Epic Housewarming Party
We don’t know about you, but the housewarming parties we have been to usually involve a crowded living room and a sausage roll. Yet for Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan, their housewarming party was more lavish than most weddings we’ve seen. The couple unveiled their new home to friends and family on 27 August via a huge festival-themed bash they named “Marchella”.
Former “TOWIE” star Wright and actor Keegan, who married in 2015, have spent the last four years building their dream home, designing their perfect interior and exterior. Finally finished, they put on a celebratory party to declare their Essex mansion is officially complete and they are moving in. And the event was one to be remembered.
White balloons decorated the outside of the house, cascading from the many windows as well as decorating the pool area. Festoon lights were hanging around their huge garden as glamping tents were erected for some of their guests to stay. Pie and mash, burgers, and pizza were handed out from food carts with an Aperol Spritz bar offering refreshments.
They had a slew of performers on the night, too. Comedian Russell Kane performed a set making everyone laugh, while Olly Murs, Scouting for Girls, Jess Wright, and Arg all belted out hits to get the guests dancing. Fireworks, of course, completed the evening.
Wright posted a video on his Instagram of the event, writing, “What an epic day, one we will never forget, one for the record books.” Keegan also added snaps to social media, writing “Thank you to everyone who made last night so special. A night we’ll never forget.” Keep reading to see some of the photos from inside their epic housewarming party.
