The icing on the cake is that the much-loved judges — Jock Zonfrillo, Andy Allen, and Melissa Leong — are returning to headline the show. And of course, there will be a range of celebrity guest judges ready to put our contestants’ skills to the test. The first guest judge to appear on the show is the renowned international superstar chef, Jamie Oliver. He will introduce some high-pressure challenges over two episodes, marking his return to the show after a decade.
The amateur cooks will have to bring their best culinary game to the table as only 18 coveted aprons are up for grabs. With a grand prize of $250,000, the stakes are high, and the competition is sure to be fierce. The competition promises to be exciting, with the pressure on for the contestants to impress the judges and avoid elimination.
Before the competition heats up, let’s take a look at the list of chefs who will be competing this year. Get ready to be wowed by their cooking skills and creativity in the kitchen.
“MasterChef Australia” 2023: Rhiannon Anderson
Rhiannon Anderson is a 46-year-old Administration worker from Queensland who is ready to take on the challenge of “MasterChef Australia”. With her children and stepchildren now grown, Rhiannon sees this as an opportunity to show them that anything is possible, no matter what age you are.
Rhiannon’s biggest inspiration in life has always been her mum, who unfortunately lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2021. Her mum was a chef and started teaching Rhiannon how to cook when she was just 11 years old. Rhiannon cherishes the memories of time spent in the kitchen with her mum and has continued to refine her skills ever since. Her mum always encouraged her to follow her dreams and even told her to apply for “MasterChef”.
With her passion for food and drive to succeed, Rhiannon is ready to take on any challenge. She hopes to not only impress the judges with her culinary creations but to also inspire others to pursue their dreams and never give up on their goals.
“MasterChef Australia: Secrets & Surprises” will premiere soon on 10 and 10 Play.
