Aussie and NZ musicians like Missy Higgins, Vance Joy, Delta Goodrem and more will perform from their homes for a TV concert to commemorate Anzac Day, dubbed Music from the Home Front.
Other musicians recording songs for the show include Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett, G Flip, Hayley Mary, Marlon Williams, Amy & George Sheppard, Tim Minchin, The Rubens, Birds of Tokyo, DMA's Paul Kelly, Ben Lee, The Wiggles and Jimmy Barnes, who co-programmed the festival with music promoter, Michael Gudinski.
The concert promises to pay tribute to the Anzac message, while also thanking the frontline medical workers and other essential workers contributing to the fight against COVID-19.
Gudinski told the Sydney Morning Herald that he came up with the idea last week, and wanted the concert to have a "home-to-home", intimate feel: "It will feature some legendary songs with special performances of music that was relevant and important to the Anzacs.
"One of the things we are going to do is have a lot of people together singing Ben Lee's 'We're All in This Together'."
Music From the Home Front airs on Channel Nine on Saturday at 7.30pm.
