Paris Hilton’s Cooking Show Is Coming To Netflix and That’s Hot

If you’re a true Paris Hilton follower, you may already know that she loves to cook. I mean honestly, what doesn’t she do? The queen can model, host, DJ, dominate social media and make a mean cheesy lasagne, as it turns out.

Early in 2020, Paris uploaded an at-home-cooking-show episode on YouTube titled Cooking with Paris, where she makes her ‘famous’ Sliving Lasagne.

For those that don’t know, ‘sliving’ is a term coined by Paris and it combines ‘slaying’ and ‘living your best life’ together, in one tight, brand-able word.

Watching her make lasagne in her messy kitchen wearing fingerless gloves, is honestly just good content.

She mixes masses of ricotta cheese and mozzarella together, to put on top of a bolognese that she “guesses” the ingredients for, all with this unpolished but polished energy that she brings to everything and it just works.

And of course, everything Paris touches turns to gold (or pink).

From this one viral video, a real cooking show has sprung and it is officially coming to Netflix.

The streamer has announced that Cooking With Paris will premiere on August 4 and we couldn’t be more excited. But what will she cook?

Although she pulled off a juicy looking lasagne, Paris isn’t exactly known for her cooking expertise, so the six-part series is set to focus on her lack of cooking skills.

“She’s turning the traditional cooking show upside down,” Netflix wrote in a release.

“She’s not a trained chef and she’s not trying to be. With the help of her celebrity friends, she navigates new ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen appliances. Inspired by her viral YouTube video, Paris will take us from the grocery store to the finished table spread — and she might actually learn her way around the kitchen.”

The shows cover image is promising, with Paris sporting a classic Barbie pink get-up, pooch in one hand and a whisk with pink icing on it in the other.

Since her viral lasagne video last year, Paris has been crafting up some delish dishes for the series and we can’t wait to see what she’s got in store for us.

As far as taste goes, I’m intrigued to find out what Paris Hilton likes to cook and what her take on the culinary world is. She told People in May 2021 that and she and her sister Nicky love cooking “different party hors d’oeuvres like Jell-O shots and nachos”.

I don’t know about you, but that’s a different take on hors d’oeuvres and honestly, I’m here for the tacky fabulousness of it all. Give me Paris Hilton in a pink apron, making Jell-O shots as hors d’oeuvres any day.

She’s also coming out with a book, obviously. Paris Hilton is maybe the world’s most savvy entrepreneur and as long as she continues to be iconic, we’re not going anywhere.

Cooking with Paris starts streaming on Aug. 4 on Netflix.
