The Mist

  • Doomsday cause: Mist and alien creatures
  • Extent of destruction: Residents have barricaded themselves into grocery stores. As the mist descends, they are left either to face the creatures that lie in it or to deal with their co-habitants, who have gotten super Lord of the Flies-y. Though we only see the event as it occurs to a small town in Maine, one can assume that the mist has settled all over the country, if not the world.
