PS: There are about 16 girls in our office who will take Richie, so . . .
Sam: You know what, I think he should be the next Bachelor! He’s endearing — his awkwardness is endearing and he’s amazing and funny . . . He’s gorgeous. I’m Team Richie for Bachelor, all the way.
PS: The ring on your finger — what is it?!
Sam: It’s on my right hand! But it is on my ring finger. Sash did actually buy that for me, it’s a commitment ring. He gave it to me last night with our friends and family — he just want me to know that he’s going to stick by me through thick and thin. It was so beautiful! He gave away what it was though, because it was in a bag and he yelled to everyone, "Everyone, just letting you know it’s NOT an engagement ring!" I was like, "Oh, OK so it’s a ring . . ." [Laughs] And he gave me a little bag and I was like, "I’m guessing it’s not a puppy!" [Laughs] Yeah, he’s so beautiful. It was really nice.
PS: I know he lives in Huskisson [NSW South Coast]. Do you have plans to move in together?
Sam: We’re talking about it and we've been sending links to each other from real estate sites. But now we’re going to be able to actually check out properties and find a nice place to live. He’s got his work down there so we’ll have to alternate and compromise and figure it all out but the goal is to end up living together. He’s actually — he'll hate me for saying this — he’s OCD like you wouldn’t believe. He’s so anal and clean and tidy . . . And I’m a free spirit — you can interpret that however you want [laughs]. We’re going to have to compromise there.
PS: How do you pronounce his last name?
PS: What nationality is that?
Sam: Umm . . . Polish? [Laughs] Is it? I’m the worst girlfriend! I say it wrong all the time, it annoys him [laughs].
PS: It wasn’t an engagement ring last night but do you think that’s on the horizon?
Sam: Not too close but it’s definitely there. When you’re so sure . . . It’s the classic old saying, "When you know, you know." I certainly feel like Sash and I are both on the same page and madly in love. I feel like there’s no challenge that would ever be too big for us to get through. We talk about marriage and it’s very effortless for us, it’s a natural progression. I don’t really like planning things and he’s a planner [laughs].
PS: That’s good, you’ll balance each other out!
Sam: Exactly! I think so too! We’ll figure it out but, yeah, it’ll happen eventually.
PS: So he’s The One! Can you believe you actually found The One on a TV show?
Sam: No! And especially after previously having long conversations with you guys like, "Men, you know? I can't figure them out!" [Laughs].
PS: We’re so happy for you — enjoy your weekend with your boyfriend!
Sam: Thank you so much!
