Karen Gillan Reveals She and Nick Kocher Got Married Last May

Surprise – Karen Gillan is married! On Feb. 22, the 35-year-old Marvel star revealed on Instagram that she tied the knot with partner Nick Kocher at Castle Toward in Scotland in May 2022. “Last May…,” Gillan casually captioned a series of photos, taken by photographer Holly Clark, from her wedding day. In the first snap, the actor is pictured wearing an opulent strapless white gown designed by Oscar de la Renta. The photo album also features a glimpse of Gillan’s bridesmaids and a bagpipe player.

Gillan’s photographer documented the actor’s big day on her Instagram as well, writing, “What an adventure! The Scottish wedding of the gorgeous, insanely talented and fun @karengillan and her hilarious husband… A huge shout out to the dream team who met every challenge with grace and enthusiasm – thank you for keeping the secret all this time… team work really does make the dream work!”

Gillan and Kocher have been together for quite a few years now, though the exact start of their relationship is unclear. However, the couple shares glimpses of their romance on social media every now and then. In fact, Gillan sparked marriage rumors in November 2022 when she posted a photo of herself wearing an emerald ring on that finger.
