North West Accompanies Kim Kardashian at the Met Gala in Ripped Jeans and Chanel Tweed

North West just might be the best dressed Kardashian-Jenner at the Met Gala. While the 9-year-old didn’t walk the red carpet on fashion’s biggest night, she accompanied mom Kim Kardashian to the Met Museum on Monday, May 1 and watched the arrivals from their car. Wearing a classic Chanel tweed jacket and ripped jeans, West was photographed hand in hand with Kardashian as they exited their hotel in New York City to make their way to the event.

Though Kardashian’s eldest daughter may not have attended the Met Gala with her mom and aunts Kendall and Kylie Jenner, she certainly dressed for the theme of the night. West accessorized her casual outfit with heeled black boots, a pearl clutch, and an assortment of Chanel pearls, including a tiny purse charm. Her ensemble perfectly complemented Kardashian’s custom Schiaparelli look, a naked dress that was dripping in pearls.

On April 30, West surprised Kardashian with a spa day at their hotel. “How sweet is North for surprising me tonight with this for us to relax before the Met,” Kardashian wrote alongside a video showing massage tables and florals arranged by her daughter. Earlier in the day in NYC, West was seen in another Chanel-heavy look consisting of a leather short-sleeved shirt, distressed jeans, and a chain belt and purse from the designer. Her cousin Penelope Disick was next to her in a gray-and-yellow Chanel jacket and matching bag.
