However, we’re almost certain that Robert Irwin was not expecting to become Australia’s — actually, no — the world’s next heartthrob.
Forget the Hemsworth brothers because Robert is all anyone can talk about these days. It was only a short while ago that footage of an American tourist asking for his number at Australia Zoo went viral.
His wholesome personality and uncanny resemblance to his late father are clearly working in his favour, and honestly, good for him!
Now, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there have been reports that the Wildlife Warrior is actually off the market. Apparently, he’s dating former Glee actress Emmy Perry.
It does make sense with Emmy being a fierce animal advocate and long-time friend of the 18-year-old.
According to Woman’s Day, Robert and Emmy, 17, first met back in 2019 at the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner in LA. Later that year, the two were spotted together at Disneyland.
Emmy’s name has been brought up once again after she visited Robert in Queensland last month and spent time at Australia Zoo. During her stay, the actress shared photos and videos of herself at the wildlife park, including a clip of herself and Robert saving a turtle in the open sea.
“So honoured to have been a part of Turtelee McTurtle Face’s return to his home after his lifesaving care at Australia Zoo Hospital. Happy trails sweet guy!💚🐢,” she wrote in the caption.
Now, before you shed a tear, it’s important to note that neither Robert nor Emmy have confirmed these claims, but they do seem pretty tight!
