Summer Walker and Lil Meech Make PDA-Filled Red Carpet Debut at the 2023 BET Awards

Summer Walker and Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. are red carpet official! The pair stepped out together for the 2023 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, marking their first public appearance as a couple. Wearing matching all-black outfits, Walker and Flenory Jr. cozied up for the cameras as they posed before the award show. In one snap, the latter even gave his girlfriend a sweet kiss on the cheek.

Romance rumors about the two were first sparked in early May when Flenory Jr. posted a slew of photos of him and Walker on his Instagram Story, per HipHopDX. The R&B singer and the “BMF” star further fueled speculation when they were spotted out and about together on multiple occasions. Walker finally addressed the rumors when she gave Yung Miami of City Girls details about her and Flenory Jr.’s budding romance during the May 25 episode of the “Caresha Please” podcast.

When asked about Flenory Jr., Walker told the rapper, “It’s giving big Meech,” jokingly adding, “He’s a good man, Savannah.” The “Still Over It” singer also explained that she wanted to wait a little longer before going public with Flenory Jr., saying, “I wanted at least like six months before people started to investigate.” “I really wanted to give it some time, you know,” she continued. “It’s fresh, you never know what can happen, but so far it’s great.”

Prior to Flenory Jr. and Walker dating, the latter was notably in an on-and-off relationship with music producer London on da Track, with whom she shares a daughter. The two reportedly first split in the summer of 2020 when Walker announced she was single via her Instagram Story, The Sun reported. They then called it quits for good after welcoming their daughter in March 2021. Walker also shares twins with her ex-boyfriend rapper LVRD Pharaoh. She revealed the twins’ birth in January, per Essence.
