POPSUGAR Australia: How are you feeling about being crowned the winner of Big Brother 2020?
Chad: I'm stoked. I'm super, super happy. I couldn't ask for anything more really. I'm just happy and proud.
I just feel really grateful for [the public's support]. That's just such a great feeling. I'm just over the moon.
PS: What was motivating you throughout the competition?
Chad: Just being a Westie. My dad was motivating me throughout the whole show as well, because everyone knows it was his favourite show. He definitely motivated me a lot.
PS: What values and attributes of your dad's did you draw on to help you win Big Brother?
Chad: Just playing by the heart. Being upfront and loyal. That's just the man he was — and that's how I played it as well.
PS: What was your favourite thing about watching Big Brother when you were growing up?
Chad: Friday Night Games was my favourite. With the family, watching that, I loved it.
PS: Did it kind of feel like you were competing in your own version of Friday Night Games when you were doing all the Nomination Challenges?
Chad: Yeah, it did! It did feel that way. But it's also hard when you're actually doing it, because you're so focused on the Challenge.
