For the first time in six seasons the public will decide who should be Australia’s Next Top Model. Last night the judge’s couldn’t decide whether to eliminate Melbourne Avon lady Sophie Van Den Akker or short stack Sydney girl Kelsey Martinovich—so they let them both stay. They join Gold Coast student Amanda Ware as the top three finalists. The live finale will be held on Tuesday and production sources say the judges and the fashion team at Harper’s Bazaar are worried the “wrong” winner will be chosen as they have a firm favourite. A source explains, “Amanda has to win—Sophie has to lose. [Kelsey] is under the height requirements of 172cm so shouldn't have been in the comp in the first place.” Host Sarah Murdoch urged the public not to vote on personality, but on who has the whole package and can make it on the world stage.
