Join Us in Drooling Over These Indulgent Desserts by MasterChef Frontrunner Reynold
Reynold Poernomo is the unequivocal king of MasterChef desserts. Since the start of Back to Win, Reynold has created some genuinely jaw-dropping dishes — it's what we expect from the fourth place in season seven and owner of KOI Dessert Dessert Bar.
Last night, he conjured up an entirely new recipe for Whipped Chocolate Ganache With a Coffee Ice Cream and Lemon Jam that looked like it belonged in a gallery.
Judge Jock Zonfrillo took one mouthful of the dessert and walked over to high-five and embrace Reynold, before being joined in the hug by Melissa Leong and Andy Allen. He was gobsmacked by his ability to create the dish in just 75 minutes: "I don't understand how you could do it in that time. Not everything you do is perfect, but, my God, when it is, it's incredible. It just made me smile. It is just so good."
While Melissa dubbed the dish "transcendental magic", Andy said: "It's probably right up there with the dish of the competition."
You can eat Reynold's delicious creations on the lounge watching MasterChef tonight: KOI is delivering to the Northern Suburbs and the Sydney CBD and surrounds, or you can pick-up your order from their Chippendale and Ryde stores.
In the meantime, let's salivate together over Reynold's super impressive desserts:
