Roxi Says the Response to Her Crying a Lot on The Bachelor Was Disappointing
Roxi walked out of The Bachelor last night after another argument with Juliette. The two had been in seemingly constant disagreement since early in the season, with that animosity only mounting over "Love in Lockdown".
At the same time, Roxi had forged a connection with Locky that kept the Bachelor on his toes. When she won one-on-one time with Locky after the American football group date, she talked about a naughty dream she had about him, and also shared flirtatious banter with him on their motorcycle single date. It won her a kiss, with Locky appearing intrigued by Roxi and intoxicated by 'The Chase'.
Still, he failed to make Roxi feel supported when she was upset at cocktail parties when she felt overlooked or mistreated. She was one of the loudest voices calling out women for not being respectful at those events, when say, someone kissed the Bachelor or constantly interrupted another woman when she tried to speak. But in doing so sometimes Roxi's language was inflammatory — something that earned her some negative attention.
During "Love in Lockdown", fans drew conclusions about her personality from the books about the Bali 9 and Schapelle Corby on her shelf, and also loved seeing her dog Lottie the cavoodle by her side.
POPSUGAR Australia talked to Roxi about the backlash she received for seemingly crying all the time and the way her edit changed over the course of the season.
