Six Months After Giving Birth, Jana Pittman is Ready for Her SAS Australia Debut

Mother-of-four Jana Pittman is ready to make her SAS Australia debut in the hopes she’ll make her children proud.

In a new promo for the gruelling reality TV show, former British Special Forces officer Ant Middleton has described the former Olympian as a “lioness”.

“I think I am tough but I had a baby six months ago,” said Pittman, in the new ad. “I hope I’ve got what it takes. I don’t like to fail.”

After winning the 2003 and 2007 world titles in the 400m hurdle event and four Commonwealth Games gold medals, Pittman now works as a doctor in the emergency department of Sydney’s Blacktown Hospital.

“I lost the Olympics, I’ve lost babies, I’ve lost marriages,” she said. “This course is going to test me beyond anything I have ever done.”

Pittman is one of 18 Aussie celebrities who will be faced with a number of physical and psychological tests from the real SAS selection process.

But whether Pittman will make it right to end is yet to be seen, as not everyone has the strength or the courage to take on the extreme challenges.
