As we all know, because we check Instagram for updates daily, production is in full swing for the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That… which is due to hit our screens later in 2021.
So far, we know that beloved supporting characters like Stanford Blatch, Anthony Marantino and Aidan Shaw will be making a comeback, while Kim Catrall, as Samantha, will not. We also know there is a slight possibility that Carrie and Mr Big are going through a divorce and that Charlotte’s King Charles Cavalier, Elizbeth Taylor, has been replaced by an English Bulldog.
Of course, there are a few new faces in the cast too—we are screaming with joy that the ladies finally decided to diversify their friend group—and two of those new faces appear to belong to Charlotte and Harry’s daughters, Lily and Rose.

You will likely remember that in the final episode of Sex and the City, Harry and Charlotte adopted Lily from China after months of trying unsuccessfully to fall pregnant naturally. Given the show ended in 2004, Lily would be 17 now! Which is crazy to think about.
And then, of course, they welcomed surprise baby Rose in the first film, which was released in 2008—thereby making their second bundle of joy 13 now. From the set photos, we can see that Rose has her own unique style, pairing some sweet Comme Des Garçons Play x Converse high-top sneakers with a floral dress, black and white tee and quirky beanie.
Dare we say we may have found a new style icon? We do. Look out, Carrie.
