The guy’s been in the game for 30 years now, and he showed us exactly why he’s still on top. Rocking a slick all-white outfit, he hit us with hit after hit in just 13 minutes. And let me tell you, those dance moves of his? They’re still as smooth as ever.

Usher brought the heat with an iconic halftime show, and he made sure to bring some A-list friends along for the ride. First up was Alicia Keys, who set the stage for an epic lineup of guest appearances.

Fans were treated to the talents of Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R. (complete with a killer guitar riff), will.i.am, Lil Jon, and Ludacris, who all joined Usher on stage to amp up the excitement.

Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Starting off with “Caught Up”, he had us all jamming like it was 2004 again. Then he threw in some classics like “Love in This Club” – and can we just take a moment to appreciate the full marching band accompaniment?

But the real surprise? Alicia Keys popping up in an all-red costume, looking like she owned the place. Together, they belted out “If I Ain’t Got You” and “My Boo” like they were born to do it.

Now, as if we weren’t already hyped enough, Usher slowed it down a notch with “Confessions” and “Burn”. And oh boy, did he bring the heat – did you see those abs?! Yep, he did, indeed, take his shirt off.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Usher brought out songstress and actress H.E.R for an iconic guitar solo, followed by a duet on the hit track “Bad Girl” from his iconic album “Confessions”.

The surprises didn’t stop there, as guest appearances kept the excitement levels soaring. From roller skaters to Lil Jon’s performance of “Turn Down For What”, the halftime show was a non-stop thrill ride.

Closing out the show with the ultimate crowd-pleaser “Yeah!”, Usher returned in a sparkling skeleton suit, accompanied by Ludacris and a troupe of pole dancers. Seriously, every move, every note, had us totally hooked. Usher’s still got it, and then some.

Usher Felt Honoured to Perform at the Super Bowl

Usher is one of the most influential artists of our generation. He’s sold over 80 million records worldwide, and with his Super Bowl performance, he joins a long line of incredible acts who have graced the halftime show stage, including Janet Jackson, Prince, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Madonna, and most recently, Rihanna

Prior to the performance, the Grammy-winning sensation expressed his excitement.

“It’s an honour of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” he said in a press release. Seth Dudowsky, NFL’s head of music, couldn’t agree more, praising Usher as an “icon” whose musical legacy has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape.

Speaking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Usher revealed that only a select “close-knit group of people” knew about his Super Bowl gig before the world caught wind of it.

“We’re really excited about the entire thing. Obviously, a legacy, but more than anything, the fact that this is the grandest stage to play on,” said the dad of four.
