Just when you thought Taylor Swift was done dropping surprises after her 10-minute version of All Too Well, in comes another release. The singer is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down as her latest venture is sure to bring in the holiday cheer.

Releasing an “Old Timey Version” of her 2019 Christmas single, Christmas Tree Farm, exclusively on Amazon Music, the holiday jingle features a new arrangement complete with a 70-piece orchestra.

“This new version is amazing because it feels like it’s that more… sort of laidback Christmas feel of doing all your shopping and relaxing by a fire,” she said. “Y’know, it’s definitely a little bit more of that old-school Christmas song feel.”

Along with the song, Taylor also released a behind-the-scenes video of her recording the song, as well as some footage of her as a child. The song was inspired by her childhood growing up on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania.

In other news, Red (Taylor’s Version) reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart, making it her 10th number one. She is now the second woman with at least 10 number ones after Barbra Streisand, who has 11.

The album is currently the highest-selling from a female artist in 2021, and is the biggest selling physical album of 2021.

The 31-year-old is remaking her first six studio albums including 2017’s Reputation after the controversial sale of her masters in recent years.

Red (Taylor’s Version) broke Spotify’s record of first-day streams by a female artist after her album was streamed 90.8 million times. The achievement was previously held by Taylor’s album Folklore, which was streamed 80.6 million times on its first day.
