Big news Swifties! Taylor Swift is heading down under.
The pop superstar is set to perform two songs at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday November 5. Much to the disappointment of fans, it doesn't appear Taylor will be making any other public appearances during her time in Australia, despite having just released her new album 'Lover'. However, keen viewers can catch all the action when the festivities air on Network 10.
Of course, anyone who attend the Melbourne Cup will be treated to seeing the performance in the flesh. As VRC chief executive Neil Wilson told the Sydney Morning Herald, "to think you can come to Flemington and watch not only the race that stops a nation but see one of the world's biggest, if not the biggest, entertainer perform for the cost of a general admission ticket is phenomenal."
Taylor will be joining a lineup of homegrown acts including Ball Park Music, Birds of Tokyo and Dean Lewis.
