Ready, Steady, Go! Meet the Teams Competing on The Amazing Race Australia

The Amazing Race Australia is so close we can practically taste it.

As we wait in anticipation, it’s only natural to want to get to know the contestants who will be racing around the world in the hopes of reaching the finish line first.

Hosted by Beau Ryan, this year’s season of The Amazing Race Australia will see the teams race across six continents, giving viewers a glimpse of places such as Turkey, Greece, Belize, Morocco, Mexico and Colombia.

There are 20 teams in total, each consisting of two people, and whoever wins the competition will take home the biggest prize in The Amazing Race Australia history.

The pair will not only score $250,000, but they’ll drive away with two brand new cars — an Isuzu D-MAX and an Isuzu MU-X.

This will be the first time the show will take place overseas after the COVID-19 pandemic stopped the world in its tracks.

Last year, the reality series was filmed in different locations around Australia due to international borders being firmly shut.

Channel 10 has been dropping snippets of the upcoming season here and there, but fans will have to wait till August 29 to see all the action.

In meantime, let’s meet the teams competing on The Amazing Race Around the World.
