The Bachelor’s Lily Price Isn’t Giving Up on Love Just Yet

Network Ten

She made a grand entrance on the very first episode of The Bachelor, but unfortunately, last night Lily wasn’t able to secure a rose, sending her home right before Hometown.

At the age of 23, Lily was the youngest contestant on the show, but she proved age is just a number as she and Bachelor Jimmy hit it off almost instantly.

From that kiss in the rain to their steamy beach date, Lily and Jimmy shared a number of special moments, but sadly, her time had come to say goodbye to the mansion.

POPSUGAR Australia had the chance to speak with Lily about what she’ll miss most about being on the show, and what she’s up to now.

POPSUGAR Australia: When you were eliminated, how did you feel about Jimmy at that point?

Lily Price: At that point, we were at a really pointy end of things, and there were definitely some strong feelings there. It started to get really real for me knowing we would be introducing family.

PS: You and Jimmy had quite a significant age gap — did you find that affected your relationship at all?

LP: No, not at all! I was actually quite pleased he was a bit older. I never date guys my age or younger, I prefer guys who are older. Just because they are in that phase where they’re ready to settle down and they’re a bit more emotionally mature. So, I was very pleased to know he was a little bit older than me and honestly it was never an issue, we had the same timelines. I think we were really similar in a lot of ways as well so it was good.

PS: How do you feel about Brooke’s return and do you think she has a chance?

LP: I was definitely surprised to see her come back and get the single date. I obviously would have loved that and I was there for myself. [I hope] she can be honest and upfront with Jimmy, I really respect him and I just care that he’s happy and he finds the one he’s looking for.

PS: Do you have any regrets about your time on the show? Would you do anything differently?

LP: I have no regrets honestly, I was 100% myself. I never wavered on that. I tried to be extremely genuine and I think that I was so yeah, I wouldn’t change a thing at this point.

PS: What have you taken away from this entire experience?

LP: I have taken away that love is still out there and it does exist. I just can’t wait to find it again, I’m so excited to see who comes into my life.

PS: Who do you think will be the last woman standing?

LP: I’m fairly biased because they’re my best friends, but I would love to see Jimmy with Holly or Carlie. I think they’re both extremely genuine and could make him very happy.

PS: What will you miss the most about being on the show?

LP: I’m going to miss my friends and seeing me be open and vulnerable because I’m typically not. I’m definitely in a place now where I can be, so it was actually the first time I saw myself actually be really open and vulnerable which was very rewarding to see for all the hard work I’ve put in.

PS: Tell us, what’s up next for you?

LP: I’m just back into the swing of normal life, I think if the right opportunity lands in front of me I would definitely consider taking it. I’m just looking forward to the next few years to see who will come into my life.
