The Real Love Boat: Is Dalton Boyfriend Material?

If you love love, if you love dating shows on boats, if you love sexy singles and glam European destinations, then buckle up babes!

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and we’re not mad about it.

The Real Love Boat — inspired by the 1976 sitcom — takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see 20 Australian singles travel the seas, looking for love.

Destination dates and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series, The Love Boat, the indispensable crew members will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.

Arrigo, our eligible Aussies will be guided through the murky waters of love as they explore Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro.

One of the babes embarking on this cruise for love, is 27-year-old Dalton Ford, a sparkling wine lover from Queensland.

Despite being a country boy, growing up in Rosebud in Victoria, Dalton is a bit a cheeky party boy. Although, he does think he has a lot to give to a potential partner.

“[I’m] loving, caring, and supportive in all aspects of life,” he said in a press statement.

With his charming and positive demeanour, Dalton can also be a bit cheeky, and will always bring you home (too many) donuts when you are having a bad day!

Dalton is looking for someone who is trustworthy, honest, confident, and independent.

“My dream date would have an amazing beach view, while watching the sun go down, while enjoying good music and a bottle of sparkling,” he says.
