The Real Love Boat: Katie Wants a Teammate for Life

If you love love, if you love dating shows on boats, if you love sexy singles and glam European destinations, then buckle up babes!

Where’s Bachie gone? No one knows. Instead, 10 is giving us a brand new dating show that’s essentially Love Island on a boat, and we’re not mad about it.

The Real Love Boat — inspired by the 1976 sitcom — takes place aboard the Princess Cruises ship, Regal Princess, and will see 20 Australian singles travel the seas, looking for love.

Destination dates and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series, The Love Boat, the indispensable crew members will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.

Arrigo, our eligible Aussies will be guided through the murky waters of love as they explore Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Turkey and Montenegro.

One of the babes embarking on this cruise for love is 25-year-old Katie Langford, an events coordinator from Queensland.

Katie describes herself as “direct but caring”, and feels she is ready for the next stage in her love life.

“I’m outgoing, bubbly, friendly, goofy and down to earth, which I want in a partner as well,” she said in a press statement.

“I don’t value arrogance, a lack of intentions, liars and people who are not supportive. I’m ready to find my perfect partner, to make the ultimate team.”

Katie doesn’t know why she’s still single, but thinks it might have to do with her level of independence.
