Tom Cruise just set the red carpet ablaze at the Sydney premiere of “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One“. The 61-year-old heartthrob looked dapper in his all-black ensemble. Seriously, does this man ever age?

Arriving three hours before the movie premiere, Cruise worked his magic on the red carpet, charming fans and media alike with his signature charisma. It’s safe to say he’s a pro at this red-carpet game, having done it six times before for the “Mission Impossible” franchise alone.

This premiere held an extra special significance for Cruise, as it fell on his 61st birthday. Can you imagine a better way to celebrate than being surrounded by an army of adoring fans at a Mission Impossible premiere? Tom spent most of the evening mingling with fans, who showered him with birthday wishes and even brought signs to commemorate the occasion.

Of course, Cruise wasn’t the only star shining on this memorable night. His incredible co-stars joined him in the celebrations. This included Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and director Christopher McQuarrie.

The red-carpet event went out with a bang… literally! A stunning display of fireworks lit up the night sky as the cast and fans watched the surprising spectacle.

When the party moved to the ICC Sydney theatre, McQuarrie took a moment to address the crowd before… Drumroll, please! Simon Pegg rolled out a birthday cake, perfectly themed for the event. The cake featured a large black square with the film’s title and a fondant motorcycle dramatically falling. The entire theatre sang the Hollywood star “Happy Birthday”.
