Who is Tristan MacManus? Meet the Irish TV Personality Taking on “I’m A Celebrity”

Ever since stepping into the jungle on “I’m A Celebrity” 2024, Tristan MacManus has been the talk of the town Down Under. The Irish dancer and TV personality gained fame through his appearances on five seasons of “Dancing With The Stars“. However, it’s his partnership with Pamela Anderson in season 15 that truly captured audiences’ attention.

After dazzling on “Dancing With The Stars” from 2011 to 2015, Tristan transitioned into a judge role on “Dancing With The Stars Australia” in 2019 and 2020, showcasing his expertise in dance.

In 2020, he took on a new challenge as the co-host of “Studio 10”, becoming a familiar face on Australian breakfast television alongside Sarah Harris. However, his stint came to an end when the show was axed in 2023.

Hailing from the quaint town of Bray, Ireland, Tristan’s passion for dance blossomed at a young age. He honed his skills in ballroom and Latin dance, eventually turning professional and representing his country on the global stage.

Beyond dance, Tristan has graced the theatre scene with his presence since 2004, appearing in a diverse range of productions like “Aladdin”, “Burn the Floor”, and “Dirty Dancing”.

Who Is Tristan MacManus’ Wife?

As for his personal life, Tristan found love with Australian actress Tahnya MacManus, known for her roles in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and “Blue Water High”. The couple tied the knot on January 25, 2014, after meeting in Los Angeles in 2011.

Now, Tristan and Tahnya are proud parents to three children: Echo Ìsolde, Oisín Lír, and Tadhg Nuada.

“I’m A Celebrity” airs Sunday — Thursday at 7.30pm on Channel 10 and 10 Play.
