Uma Thurman brought a very special date to the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on May 16: her son, Levon Hawke! Levon and his mom attended the opening night screening of “Jeanne du Barry” and posed together on the carpet. Thurman, 52, wore a nude dress with red accessories, while Levon, whose full name is Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, opted for a classic tux.

Thurman shares Levon, 21, with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke (who’s also at Cannes, promoting his short film “Strange Way of Life”). The pair married in 1998 and split in 2003. The two are also parents to their daughter, “Stranger Things” star Maya Hawke, 25. Additionally, Thurman has daughter Luna Thurman-Busson, 11, with ex-partner Arpad Busson. Meanwhile, Levon and Maya have two more siblings from their dad’s marriage to wife Ryan Shawhughes: Clementine Hawke, 14, and Indiana Hawke, 11.

Like his parents and sister, Levon has also gotten into the family business of acting. He’s set to appear in the upcoming cowboy film “The Thicket,” which stars “Game of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage and “Yellowjackets” actor Juliette Lewis. He’ll also appear in Apple TV+’s new series “The Crowded Room” this June and in Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut “Pussy Island.” Plus, Maya confirmed he appears as an extra in the fourth season of “Stranger Things,” which came out in mid-2022.

Like his dad Ethan and sister Maya, Levon is involved in music and plays acoustic guitar. He’s also performed with Maya, who’s released two albums. Levon has dabbled in modeling as well and has walked in fashion shows alongside Thurman, including Prada’s 2019 Resort Collection show, per People.
