Spirited, November 18

We’re already laughing at the idea of this musical version of Charles Dickens’ beloved story, A Christmas Carol.

Starring Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer, this twist on the classic tale sees the Ghost of Christmas Present (Ferrell) selects one dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits.

This season, however, he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs (Reynolds) turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself re-examining his own past, present and future.

Echo 3, November 23

This 10-episode series centres around a young American scientist that goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border. Her brother and her husband struggle set out in search of her and discover more than they expected. The series features both English and Spanish language dialogue.

Starring Luke Evans and Michiel Huisman, Echo 3 is an adaptation of the Israeli show When Heroes Fly.

Slow Horses  — Season 2, December 2

A list actors Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, and Jack Lowden star in this darkly comedic drama which follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes.

Emancipation, December 9

Will Smith stars in this captivating story as Peter, a man who escapes from slavery, relying on his wits, unwavering faith and deep love for his family to evade cold-blooded hunters and the unforgiving swamps of Louisiana on his quest for freedom.

Killers of the Flower Moon, Early 2023

Based on the book Killers Of The Flower Moon: The Osage Murders And The Birth Of The FBI, and directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon tells the story of a series of murders of wealthy Osage Native Americans in Oklahoma in the 1920s after oil was found on their land.

It wouldn’t be a Scorsese project without his long-time collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio, so you can expect to see him in the starring role alongside screen icon Robert De Niro.
