Touchdown — “Australian Idol” 2024 Now Has a Start Date

Who’s excited for the kick-off of 2024? We certainly are! As we eagerly anticipate the new year, a fresh start, and summer swims, there’s one thing that has us buzzing with excitement — the return of “Australian Idol“.

In 2024, “Australian Idol” will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, and to mark this historic occasion, one of our fave judges, Marcia Hines, is making a triumphant comeback.

Marcia was one of the signature judges from 2003 until 2009. Beyond “Idol”, she’s best known for her decades-spanning music career, which saw her win multiple ARIA Awards.

On Instagram, Marcia gushed about her return to “Australian Idol”, and said that we’re in for a great season.

“It’s so good to be back,” Marcia said in an Instagram post. “I look forward to doing it.”

“We’ve got some amazing talent, and we really want you guys to tune in, ‘cause it’s about you too.”

When Does “Australian Idol” 2024 Start?

The 2024 season of “Australian Idol” premieres on Monday, January 29 on Channel 7 and the 7 Plus app. 

As it stands, we don’t know the exact time that this season premieres. We will update this page once more info drops. Our best guess is that the 2024 season of “Australian Idol” will premiere at 7.00pm — the same starting time for the series in 2023.

However, whatever the start time is, we’re excited for this new season of “Australian Idol” to premiere. What an excellent series to begin the new year with.
